The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran pointed out that military and commercial ships belonging to the United States, Israel, European countries, and their supporters are prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. If detected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, they will be targeted.
Furthermore, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also revealed that their naval combat aircraft had struck a US oil tanker in the northern Persian Gulf early that morning, causing the tanker to be currently on fire.
Additionally, several Iranian media outlets cited an Iranian military officer as saying that Iran has not completely closed the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian officer stated that Iran respects international agreements regarding passing ships and only intercepts military vessels disguised as commercial ships.
