Tianjin Donggang Border Inspection Station revealed on the 17th that the Liberian cargo ship "Zhenglibaseng" berthed at the Eurasian International Container Terminal at Tianjin Port on the same day, marking the official opening of a new China-Thailand container shipping express service that connects major ports in northern and southern China with Laem Chabang Port in Thailand.
Operated by CNC Shipping, this service links ports in northern China such as Tianjin, Dalian, and Qingdao with ports in southern China like Shenzhen Shekou Port and Thailand's largest container deep-water port, Laem Chabang Port, forming a closed-loop maritime network to enhance trade and logistics efficiency between China and Thailand.
The "Zhenglibaseng" cargo ship is one of the inaugural vessels on this route, and its successful arrival signifies the commencement of substantial operations on this direct freight route. This new express service primarily caters to the trade of machinery and electronic products, agricultural products, and consumer goods between China and Thailand, with the potential to boost regional economic cooperation.
The opening of this new route will reduce transportation times for goods and provide more convenient and stable maritime options for import and export enterprises between China and Thailand. Yang Jisen, a shipping agent, stated that efficient customs clearance support has set a good precedent for the smooth departure and future operation of the route, bolstering confidence from all parties involved.
Tianjin Donggang Border Inspection Station expressed its commitment to continuously optimize customs clearance services, supporting the launch of more international routes from Tianjin.
