Decoupling Corporation's Consumer Behavior Analysis Report for the first quarter of 2025 reveals that BYD has been awarded the highest automotive brand rating in Brazil's customer satisfaction survey, based on an analysis of over 10,000 online review data.

The survey, developed by Harvard University, breaks down evaluation indicators into 17 components. Decoupling Corporation has utilized artificial intelligence to integrate data from 12 automakers, including BYD, Chevrolet, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Nissan, Renault, Toyota, and Volkswagen, selecting these brands based on the highest number of online reviews.

BYD ranks first in average scores, with 10 evaluation components placing in the top three, surpassing previous leaders Honda and Hyundai. Currently in second place is Jeep, overtaking Honda and Hyundai.

According to consumer feedback, BYD's strengths lie in convenient access to the brand's website, excellent in-store and test driving experiences, as well as outstanding performance in dealer website visits, showroom model comparisons, and vehicle deliveries.

Conversely, Volkswagen scores lowest in six evaluation components, particularly in dealer services, optional configuration selection, and price negotiation aspects. On the other hand, Ford ranks lowest overall, with major issues highlighted in test driving experiences, financing options, and car part selections, receiving very low scores.

Additionally, Decoupling also disclosed the overall ratings by Brazilian consumers across various stages of purchasing a car, with test driving experiences receiving the highest scores, followed by brand website visits and dealer reception services, while vehicle delivery waiting times scored the lowest.
