According to a public opinion poll released on August 26th, Brazilian people have a more positive view of China than of the United States and Israel. The survey results are as follows:

Favorability towards China has reached a historic high, with 49% of respondents expressing a positive opinion, an increase from 38% in February last year, while the negative rating has decreased to 37%. Positive ratings for the United States have fallen to 44%, with negative ratings rising to 48%, and 8% remaining uncertain or not responding. Among voters supporting Lula, 69% hold a negative view of the United States; while among those supporting Bolsonaro, 72% have a positive view of the United States. Favorability towards Israel has decreased to 35%, with negative ratings rising to 50%. Favorability towards Argentina has risen to 42%, with negative ratings at 40%. Favorability towards Russia has risen to 25%, with negative ratings at 59%.

Felipe Nunes, director of the polling agency Quaest, pointed out that the changes in Brazilian attitudes towards various countries are related to the Trump administration's imposition of high tariffs on Brazilian goods. The survey covered interviews with 12,150 voters conducted in multiple states from August 13th to 17th, with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.
