The "Crazy Hair Day" event held around Brazil's Children's Day (Dia das Crianças, October 12th) has become a traditional activity in schools nationwide. In recent years, this event has gained popularity and once again caused a frenzy in 2025.

According to reports from "O Estado de São Paulo," searches related to "Crazy Hair" have been steadily increasing on Google since late September this year. People are liking, commenting, sharing creative styles on major social platforms, and spreading tutorials for making innovative hairstyles.

Hair designs in 2025 are even more daring and innovative, incorporating small animals like chicks, parrots, and goldfish into the hair designs. Children are using colorful hair dyes, small LED lights, and motors to achieve various imaginative hairstyles, such as a "solar system" on the crown and a "barbecue grill."

Some opt for simpler and practical solutions, like a "doughnut" bun decorated with sugar grains and glitter, colorful mohawk hairstyles, and themed hair accessories.

According to the Brazilian website "g1globo," creativity knows no bounds in the "Crazy Hair" theme, whether it's cartoon characters, animal shapes, or cola bottle decorations. Parent and teacher Amanda da Silva Onçalo pointed out that despite the effort involved, seeing the children happy makes it all worthwhile.

She said, "This activity has sparked a lot of controversy, with some moms feeling it's an extra burden. But we are prepared, and seeing our daughters go to school on such a fun day, seeing classmates and friends with interesting hairstyles, makes me happy for their joy."

Amanda mentioned that her daughters' hairstyle inspirations come from various beverages, such as this year's choices being herbal tea and "Capibara Garden." She noted that the biggest challenge is finding hairstyles online that are liked and then recreating these creative styles at low cost using materials available at home.

This activity brings joy to the children, who eagerly prepare to go to school even when they are sick. Anna Lívia, for instance, insisted on going to school even with a cold and fever, as her unique instant noodle hairstyle drew praise from all her classmates.
