
Qingdao Port International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Qingdao Port) recently released its 2025 performance report, achieving operating revenue of approximately 18.806 billion yuan, a slight year-on-year decrease of 0.71%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached about 5.272 billion yuan, up 0.70% year on year.
Meanwhile, in 2025, Qingdao Port handled a cargo throughput of 722 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%, and a container throughput of 34.2 million TEUs, up 6.3% year on year.
During the reporting period, Qingdao Port deepened strategic coordination with shipping companies, further explored the hinterland market, expanded business increments, and accelerated the construction of the "Northeast Asia International Shipping Hub Center".
Specific measures include: collaborating with shipping companies to expand the route network and fully deploy competitive shipping routes, with 20 new container routes added. The total number and density of routes continued to rank first among northern Chinese ports. Leveraging the advantages of land-sea linkage, the port actively developed cargo sources in inland hinterlands, adding 5 inland ports and 3 sea-rail intermodal trains, continuously enhancing its radiation capacity and development momentum.
In addition, Qingdao Port focused on building a world-class comprehensive supply chain service system based on the port, expanding a logistics network that "roots in Shandong, covers the Yellow River Basin, radiates across China, and connects the world", forming a complete full-process logistics service system.
Specifically:
Strengthened the integrated and coordinated development of terminal operations in the region, completing 5.03 million TEUs of terminal business throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%;Vigorously developed agency services, with freight forwarding volume reaching 50.23 million tons, up 5.0% year on year;Vehicle agency business reached 2.96 million cubic meters, surging 32.1% year on year;Ocean shipping booking business hit 310,000 TEUs, an increase of 16.1% year on year;Expanded and strengthened warehousing services, focusing on key cargo types such as pulp and rubber, and extended its domestic and overseas layout. The annual logistics and warehousing business reached 2.83 million tons, up 10.3% year on year.
Looking ahead to 2026, Qingdao Port stated that it will firmly anchor the three major construction goals of "a world-class marine port cluster, a first-class port-based comprehensive supply chain service system, and a world-class enterprise". It will continue to optimize its business layout, improve its service system, enhance operational quality and efficiency, make new contributions to regional economic and social development, and create greater value for corporate shareholders.
