The roll-on/roll-off ship "BYD XI'AN," manufactured by CIMC Jinling (Jiangsu) Shipyard, recently underwent a safe trial voyage in the test sailing area under the maintenance of Yangzhou Maritime Patrol Boat.

This ship measures 219.9 meters in length, 37.7 meters in beam, has a designed draft of 9 meters, a designed speed of 18.5 knots, and can carry 9,200 vehicles. The "BYD XI'AN" is powered by LNG dual-fuel clean energy, significantly reducing emissions and embodying the concept of green shipping.

Furthermore, it is equipped with energy-saving devices, anti-fouling coatings to reduce resistance and energy consumption, enhancing energy efficiency and minimizing environmental impact on water bodies. The ship is also outfitted with BYD containerized battery packs and shaft generators, showcasing technological advantages in green environmental protection, intelligence, and efficiency.
